[Journal Club] An introduction of the quark-jet model

I will talk about the work presented in PHYSICAL REVIEW D 80, 074008 (2009).

Before this work, people usually research quark fragmentation by parameterization from global fitting and some model calculations. However, such calculations encounter an order problem. The authors provide an useful framework to calculate the quark fragmentation functions in an effective chiral quark theory.The framework solves the order problem and ensures momentum of the quark is conserved.
